Sydney: Vegan Passionfruit Tapoica Pudding

Arlingtons Passionfruit Tapoica Pudding

In August 2010, my sweetheart witnessed the rarest and sweetest grocery product on our last day in Sydney, Australia, Arlingtons Fruit Tapioca Pudding. It was a hard find, because it was placed in amongst the milky yogurts section. Plus the small labels, “gluten-free and dairy-free” on that product were small enough that we didn’t initially spot it.

We found these at one Harris Farm Markets grocery store located at 24-30 Springfield Avenue, Potts Point NSW 2011, Australia in Darlinghurst (view map). Harris Farm Markets was a great find in the lively and young Darlinghurst district of Sydney

Review: I tried their passionfruit tapioca. There were other flavors such as Real Raspberry, Coco Mango and Sweet Lemon Lime. I haven’t seen the Cinnamon Apple, but if I could find them I would love to try them all. The texture was really creamy and decadent and the flavor had a true, fresh passionfruit tanginess. Overall I loved this product because tapioca and rice puddings are some of my favorite sweet treats, yet vegan versions are surprisingly difficult to find. I am also excited by the fresh, tropical flavors they’ve chosen.
