Our favorite smoothie of the year is the Banana & Pineapple Smoothie. It is also one of our easiest and favorite desserts to make. You can use almost thawed Trader Joe’s Frozen Pineapple Tidbits, any dairy-free milk, and one nearly ripe banana to make this wonderful smoothie. This makes about 32 oz., equivalent to two tall glass servings. For the dairy-free milk, I tend to avoid soy-based milks, and I like to use So Delicious® Dairy Free’s Original Coconut Milk.

- Thaw the frozen pineapples for at least half an hour. Place the pineapples, milk and banana in a high-speed blender. Add ice (optional) for a frostier beverage. Cover, and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses to serve.
