Mango & Thai Basil Smoothie

It’s Friday, June 13. This post is going to be brief. I would like to thank each and everyone of you individually for all your sweet birthday wishes and love, it means a lot to me. To celebrate this very special day, I am sharing one of my favorite summery drink: Mango & Thai Basil Smoothie. It’s creamy, earthy and hearty (and of course, making you want to go back to Thailand).

Mango & Thai Basil Smoothie

Mango & Thai Basil Smoothie

Yield: about 3 cups (750 mL)

Ingredients

1 cup frozen mango chunks
¼ cup Thai basil leaves (may substitute regular basil if you can’t get the Thai variety)
1 teaspoon-1 tablespoon maple syrup (depending on taste and sweetness)
Optional: ¼ cup ice (if using fresh mango)

Method

Throw all ingredients (in order) into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
