Beauty Product Review: Lime Crime Lipsticks

Let’s start with Lime Crime’s fabulous lipsticks (I fell in love with them instantly). They are 100 % VEGAN + CRUELTY-FREE lipsticks that can be seen here. I will be reviewing COQUETTE opaque nude lipstick and COUNTESSA FLUORESCENT opaque lipstick. These two just became my favourite lip colours and they bring out fabulous colours to your bland lips! The signature purple tubes with sparkling unicorn were absolutely cute and unique compared to other ordinary lipstick cases.

My Verdict for Lime Crime Lipstick:
COUNTESSA FLUORESCENT opaque
The lipstick colour, COUNTESSA FLUORESCENT opaque is more of a neon pink with very bright pink pigments. It is vegan and cruelty-free. I applied this lip colour directly from the tube. I have light-medium Asian complexion and the neon pink stood out well on my lips like a Barbie look. I can imagine the colour fits on all complexions from light to dark since it’s a strong neon pink colour. There was a strong pigmentation from the first swipe so I don’t need to apply more than once. It lasted for the day, with a bit of application after eating and drinking. The soft and creamy base from the Lime Crime lipstick made my lips bit plump looking. According to Lime Crime’s tips on applying lipstick, be gentle with these lipsticks if you are dealing with heat or humidity. My eye makeup is also by Lime Crime’s vegan CHINADOLL pressed eyeshadow palette, which will be featured later this month. This is my first time to go “beyond the ordinary eye makeup.”

Apply directly from the tube or with a brush. Due to high pigment load and creamy texture, these lipsticks are softer and more delicate than others, please keep them away from heat and be gentle when applying.

My Verdict for Lime Crime Lipstick:
COQUETTE opaque nude
The lipstick colour, COQUETTE opaque nude is a peachy nude lipstick and it is a bit opaque, which goes well with any skin complexions (from light to medium to dark). It is vegan and cruelty-free. Plus, the lipstick case is beautiful. I applied more than once because I have slightly tinted red lips so it takes more application to achieve fabulous nude lips. The colour looks natural and also, the effect can provide the illusion of having larger lips. Having a peachy nude and opaque lipstick can give you a simple, yet sexy lips that can be paired with an understated natural look or even smoky eyes. The lipstick provides a creamy texture, rather than the matte look.
