I’ve fallen in love with my Christmas gift this year, an Omega VRT350 Juicer. I especially enjoy making green juices and I know it’s bound to save us money in the long run. I’m already playing around with different recipes and juicing whatever we have in our fridge on any given day. There’s still a bit to learn about making juices, apples still require straining since they come out pulpy and some greens like red beetroot greens come out of the juicer brown, but using an Omega is really super simple.
For those of you who were wondering what glass carafes I’ve been using for juices on Instagram, these Bormioli Rocco Aquaria Water Jugs are the ones. They are BPA-free, made in Italy, hold 41-ounces and are dishwasher-safe. Perfect for two-three servings of juice! I love these carafes so much that I’ve actually bought half a dozen of them!
For road trips or drinks to-go, I use Aquasana 18-Ounce Glass Water Bottles
but the necks are a bit narrow to pour compared to the carafes above so you’ll likely need a funnel. These Aquasana bottles are so sturdy though that I feel like I can take them anywhere and really rely on them. They are also dishwasher-safe and BPA-free like the carafes above. These glass bottles remind me of a typical juice cleanse size, so they could be practical if you want to monitor your portions.
