In December, Southwest Eugene’s King Estate Winery Restaurant‘s chef and the kitchen prepared me this brilliant vegan dish that I could not keep my taste buds off: barley rice with roasted and glazed beets and vegetables. The flavor was fantastic and I was very satisfied with the dish. Doni had a vegetarian dish (not vegan), it’s a gnocchi with wild mushrooms, hazelnuts and artichokes. I wish I can try the vegan version of the gnocchi dish.
