Portland: Andina Restaurant
Andina Restaurant was one of our favorite vegan-friendly restaurants in Pearl District.
1314 NW Glisan St in Portland’s Pearl District
Most of the cocktails can be made vegan, our favorite cocktail was the Sacsayhuamán, a Novooandino cocktail, habanero pepper infused vodka shaken with passionfruit puree and cane sugar, served up with a sugar rim and a cilantro leaf garnish. That was the best cocktail.
Here are our vegan options at Andina Restaurant we had that day:
1. Causa Solterito, a traditional preparation of fresh lime-flavored potato mixture pressed into a cake with savory vegetable toppings and served cold with avocado.
2. Mixto Vegetariano, green beans, beets, baby carrots, and mushrooms cooked in key lime with a marinade of onions, cilantro, and hot pepper served in the traditional style with corn and sweet potato.
3. Locro Serrano con Granos Andinos, savory vegan stew of squash served with sweet potatoes, medley of vegetables and garlic rice.
4. Quinoa salad
